Overview
Working with rEvolution, a leading experiential agency, we teamed up to deliver a heartfelt digital activation for Peacock’s Father’s Day campaign. The goal? Create a simple, emotional moment where fans could pause, reflect, and create something personal for the father figures in their lives — all within a branded, shareable virtual experience.
Hosted online and accessible via QR code, this browser-based experience let users create a custom digital Father’s Day card, complete with a personal message and digital signature — no downloads, no app, no friction.
The Experience
Entry via QR Code
Guests accessed the booth by scanning a QR code at various in-person or digital campaign touchpoints. No login, download, or registration was required — just tap, create, and share.
Create a Card, Add a Message
- Once on the microsite, users were guided through a beautifully branded flow.
- They could enter a short message to Dad, and sign it with their finger or stylus.
- The card design was preloaded with Peacock creative assets, keeping everything consistent with the brand’s Father’s Day campaign.
Instant Generation
- Upon submitting, the system generated a custom Father’s Day card image, complete with:
- The user’s message
- A natural-looking signature
- A subtle animated overlay for polish (optional)
Share It Anywhere
- Guests could download the card or instantly share it with their dad via text, email, or social media.
- Everything was built to feel lightweight and fast, with a mobile-first layout.

📱 Truly Virtual – Nothing to install, totally browser-based
🎨 Branded & Custom – Every element matched Peacock’s campaign
💌 Instant Shareability – Turned into a sharable moment, not just a static card
Results
- Thousands of card submissions across the campaign window
- Average session time under 1 minute — optimized for mobile engagement
- Zero drop-off from the QR to submission funnel (due to no logins or redirects)
- Campaign tracked with real-time analytics dashboard
- Full database capture with timestamps for engagement reporting
How It All Worked
- The microsite was built using React.js for a fast, app-like experience
- Signature capture used native HTML5 canvas — no plug-ins required
- Submitted cards were rendered in the browser and optionally uploaded to cloud storage (AWS)
- QR codes linked directly to individual campaign URLs
- Analytics and usage stats were logged for real-time tracking and post-campaign reporting
- Built with offline fallback caching to ensure the experience stayed up even with weak mobile signals
Conclusion
Peacock’s Father’s Day experience proved that small digital gestures can have big emotional impact. By simplifying the flow and adding just enough personal touch, we helped guests turn a quick scan into a lasting memory — and made sure the brand was there for every moment.
