The Story
Overview
When global experiential agency Jack Morton needed a wow-worthy activation for Chevrolet, they turned to PivotXP to deliver something unforgettable.
We created a fully automated, high-impact experience where guests tested their pitching speed against a real 1968 Chevy Chevelle —a legendary muscle car on full display and clocked at 96 mph . Using radar speed tracking, high-speed video, RFID automation, and real-time processing, each participant received a custom cinematic video—personalized, branded, and delivered in under a minute.
The Guest Experience
- Scan & Go Guests received RFID wristbands, scanned at the station to instantly trigger their personalized session.
- Bring the Heat Using a Stalker Sport 3 radar gun , we captured each pitch’s exact speed. A Canon R8 camera recorded every throw in buttery-smooth 120fps slow motion.
- Head-to-Head with a Legend Each guest’s video showed their pitch compared directly against the 96 mph 1968 Chevelle , with speed overlays, slow-mo moments, and full Chevy branding.
- Instant Delivery Guests received their video via email and SMS within seconds—formatted for instant sharing on TikTok and more.
- The Chevelle Was There The iconic car wasn’t just in the video—it was on-site. Guests could check it out up close, snap photos, and then “race” it virtually through the activation.
