Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

PivotXP is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We actively consider and apply internationally recognized accessibility guidelines when developing and maintaining our public website and digital experiences. Our goal is to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

Conformance Status

We design and develop our website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline standard.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is recognized and referenced by accessibility laws and regulations worldwide, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and EN 301 549.

What We Do

We apply the following practices when building and maintaining pivotxp.com:

  • Semantic HTML: We use properly structured HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists) so screen readers and assistive technologies can navigate content effectively.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements—links, buttons, and forms—are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
  • Color contrast: We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in line with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.3.
  • Alternative text: Images include descriptive alt attributes so screen reader users receive equivalent information.
  • Responsive design: Our site is built to work across devices and screen sizes, supporting browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Focus management: Visible focus indicators are present on interactive elements to assist keyboard and switch-access users.
  • Video and media: Videos include controls; we strive to provide captions or text alternatives for audio-visual content where applicable.
  • Forms: Form inputs include programmatically associated labels and descriptive error messages.

Technical Standards Referenced

  • WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) — W3C Recommendation, June 2018 (the primary standard we target)

  • Section 508 — U.S. federal accessibility standard for electronic and information technology

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, some legacy content and third-party embedded components may not yet fully meet all criteria.
